Inward Offering marks an earlier articulation of the artist’s exploration of inner cosmology. Rather than depicting nature, the works internalize it. Celestial and terrestrial forms function as structural devices that organize the viewer’s gaze and establish a sense of vertical and horizontal orientation. Through this quiet architecture, the series transforms cosmological imagery into a meditation on interior presence.
The compositions construct layered worlds through repeated applications of mineral pigment, embedding and polishing the surface until forms hover between clarity and erasure. The paintings cultivate a contemplative field in which the viewer’s inner space and the pictorial space become momentarily continuous.
