Suspended Contemplations｜悬思

Suspended Contemplations isolates suspension as a temporal condition. The surface is constructed through layered mineral pigments and repeated abrasion, producing a dense yet breathable field. Edges dissolve gradually, resisting fixed contour and encouraging prolonged viewing.

The compositions stabilize around subtle anchors yet refuse narrative development. The works cultivate a delayed perceptual response; the image unfolds slowly, as if emerging through mist. Through this restrained material choreography, the series proposes contemplation as a suspended state of consciousness, where time expands without direction and perception becomes acutely aware of its own duration.
